I The Anthem sono una band Rock/Pop-Punk di Roma, emersa negli anni come una tra le più interessanti del panorama underground italiano, avendo canzoni caratterizzate da melodie “catchy”, giri di chitarra esplosivi e ritmi trascinanti. Dopo la promozione del primo album “High Five”(2012), con più di 100 shows tra Italia, Germania, Francia, Russia, Ucraina, e date di supporto a band come All Time Low, You Me At Six, Young Guns e The Maine, i The Anthem hanno da poco rilasciato il loro nuovo album, “In It To Win It”, che li ha portati per la prima volta in tour in Giappone.
È uscito ufficialmente il loro ultimo singolo, con annesso video, “Like You’re James Dean”. Come racconta il cantante Paolo Notarsanti
Il brano parla di quelle persone a cui interessa solo l’apparenza e si comportano come sefossero meglio degli altri ma, in fondo, non hanno nulla di speciale da offrire”.
