“Skid Row” è il debut album della band omonima uscito il 24 gennaio del 1989 per Atlantic Records. Venne registrato a Lake Geneva, Wisconsin con il produttore Michael Wagener.
L’album raggiunse la posizione numero 6 nella classifica Billboard 200 e venne certificato 5 volte disco di platino dalla RIAA nel 1995 per aver venduto 5 milioni di copie negli Stati Uniti. Vennero tratti 4 singoli: “Youth Gone Wild”, “18 and Life”, “I Remember You” e “Piece of Me”, ciascuno dei quali venne accompagnato da un video.
