“Something Wicked This Way Comes” è il quinto album degli Iced Earth uscito il 7 luglio del 1998. Si tratta del primo con il bassista James MacDonough ed il chitarrista Larry Tarnowski.
Registrato nel marzo del 1998, l’album introduce la fictional story “Something Wicked Saga” di Jon Schaffer. Il brano “Watching Over Me” venne scritta come tributo al decesso di Bill Blackmon, amico d’infanzia di Schaffer, che aveva ispirato il nome Iced Earth.
