Il 6 aprile del 1993 usciva “Undertow”, debut full length dei Tool, pubblicato da Zoo Entertainment.
L’album venne registrato tra ottobre e dicembre del 1992 presso Sound City Studios, Van Nuys, Los Angeles, e Grandmaster Recorders, Hollywood da Sylvia Massy.
Alcuni dei brani presenti nella release sono tracce che la band aveva deciso di non includere nel primo EP.
